IEC Connector Manufacturer from China LANZMFG

I love electronic devices, especially amplifiers and other music equipment. But when you come to swap them out or make some sort of change, your brain thinks it can pick up a square box and put it somewhere. Then you get that nagging realization that the mains cord is captive - grrr. Out of all the things in the world that aren't life or death but just really annoying, like remotes with dead batteries, or blunt knives, trailing mains cables are up there in the high aggravation zone. I have opened lots of amplifiers and other gear to see if there was space to swap out the cable gland and put in a C14. Whenever I buy a new piece of gear, whether or not it has an IEC cord socket is a persuasive feature. In the past, for scratch electronic projects I have bought IEC sockets one by one and paid what seem like a horrendous amount of money for them. So getting a pack of ten is a real pleasure. When you look at one of these sockets up close there is nothing to fault. The plastic casing is crisply molded from very chunky plastic. All the display side surfaces have a nice granular frosted texture. The contacts/connectors are well formed and have a plating which looks like nickel. If I had to describe one of these sockets in the context of all the previous ones I have encountered, I might describe the edges and corners as slightly sharper than the more rounded versions of a few years ago. I tried plugging in a couple of cables with IEC plugs and the balance of smooth entry and firm contact grip was just about right. So you could use one of these IEC inlets from LANZMFG on any very high spec project and it would not embarrass you. Highly recommended.
