C14+Switch FAQ
It’s an IEC-60320 C14 inlet connector integrated with a manual on/off power switch in one panel-mount unit. It lets you plug in standard IEC power cords and control the mains supply without additional parts.
Having the switch built into the inlet module lets you reduce wiring complexity, save chassis space, and give users a simple, accessible way to turn equipment on or off without external switches or cables.
Most IEC C14 inlet modules with a switch are rated for up to around 10 A at 250 VAC, which matches the standard rating for IEC C14 connections used in a wide range of equipment.
