It is an electrical component that integrates an IEC 60320 C8 male receptacle and a rocker switch into a single unit. This design saves panel space and simplifies internal appliance wiring.
The standard IEC C8 connector is non-polarized and features a symmetrical figure-8 shape. For polarized applications, a squared-off IEC C8P inlet must be used instead.
